Autoimmune Protocol (AIP)
The Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) is a version of the Paleo diet that focuses on eating health promoting foods while eliminating foods that could potentially cause problems. It’s used as an elimination diet, where grains, dairy, legumes, eggs, nuts, seeds, nightshades, and food additives are removed from your diet for at least 30 days. Once you feel like your health has improved and you’re happy with your results, eliminated foods are challenged one by one in a series of reintroductions to learn your body’s tolerance.
